Meet Your Coach

Yann Danis is a former NHL, AHL, and KHL goaltender with a 13-year pro career. A graduate of Brown University, he was a Top 3 Hobey Baker finalist, two-time All-American, and ECAC Goalie of the Year. Yann signed with the Montreal Canadiens, earning shutouts in both his NHL and AHL debuts. He went on to win the Bas Bastien Award as AHL Goalie of the Year and was a 3-time AHL All-Star. Throughout his career, he trained under top goalie coaches and shared the ice with legends like Martin Brodeur and Carey Price. Now retired, Yann is passionate about coaching and helping the next generation of goalies through virtual goalie training, video analysis, and mentorship with Elevate the 6th.
